# About Hyro Protocol

> The team and operator behind the on-chain prop trading layer.

Hyro Protocol is the on-chain layer for crypto prop trading, built and operated by HyroTrader.

## Mission

Crypto prop trading is a real market with real problems — refused payouts, opaque accounting, a structural conflict of interest, and an artificial ceiling on how far a trader can scale. Hyro Protocol exists to fix this by moving the entire model on-chain: smart-contract rules that can't change mid-evaluation, automated USDC payouts anyone can verify, and LP-funded vaults that let traders scale past any firm's balance sheet.

The launch product is crypto prop trading — chosen because HyroTrader has five years of operational data to prove the model fastest. But the protocol is built as a generalized on-chain vault primitive: the same architecture that funds prop traders today is designed to support funds, asset managers, algorithmic desks, and market makers as it matures.
